Hi John ,
Yep I noticed that too. Must create  threads for each new
terminal that you open. Don't know how many. If
anyone wants to find out and tell me I'd be interested.

Are there are features ( apart from a pretty small footprint )
that gnome terminals have using inter-thread communication ?
I suppose that I could always go looking for a terminalFactory
function somewhere in the gnome code >:-)
