 From the mail which is sent to ILUG subscribers when they join the list:

     NOTE : this mailing list is text-only.  Do *not* send binaries,
     HTML or multipart content to it, as they will be rejected by the
     list manager.

As policy, I reject multipart/alternative or text/html messages, because
they're a pain in the proverbial.  Just call me Canute.
