HOWTO in train... Hoping to get it on the LDP..
I'm working on a kinda catchall HOWTO referring frequently to the various
HOWTOs I used in setting up my system. It's intended to be a "This is what I
did" and "These are the HOWTOs that told me what I needed to know". I'll be
posting review requests in due course...
"Out of business".... Heh!
I'm not in business, just thinking of a way to pay for the hardware I'll need
for my full setup. Currently, I've got a P200 Samba server running the
firewall and ppp dialup on a cat5 crossover cable to the only client machine.
I want to get a 486 to run the firewall and router on so I'll need a hub
(anyone got a spare 10BaseT 8-port hub for sale or donate?), a 486 and lots of
cable. Later, I'll get a second machine for the kids and when my sweetheart
goes back to studying, she'll need one of her own. Then I'll be able to
single boot again!.
BTW, do *you* want one? I can pass on bare machines at cost if that's of
interest.
