[ILUG] Mandrake 7.2 causing nether-regional discomfort!!

Tell me,

I am in the middle of downloading 7.2 and would like to know if I absolutely
need cd2? If yes then I need to clear some space and download it tonight.

Regards
CW

Did anyone else install this yet? Did you run into trouble? I ended up
having to modify the installer to get it to work!

Also, I'm fairly annoyed with KDE 2

the task bar/panel refuse to behave as the old one did

the window close button is now in the top left corner and I cannot find
any control panel for the window manager

you no longer have that nice drop down menu which let you send windows
to other desktop

kmail doesn't even open

kspread went mental when I gave it a fairly simple excel file

the search facility in khelp does nothing at all

and God knows what else, a serious disappointment. I've seen some
reviews of this and they've all been positive with very little bad to
say, I have no idea what planet these reviewers are on but one of
Mandrake's selling points was ease of use and the fact that everything
would just work, and it used to but not this time.

Is it just me???
