I've been trying to install kpresenter 2.0 from rpm's.
Not really having much joy.
Current system is Redhat 6.2.
I decieded I try and install kpresenter for kde 2.0.
So I've been through a few iterations of download, install, find
new missing dependency etc.
Then I ran into rpm built with 4.0. At this point I think I may
have done something really silly.. downloaded rpm4.0 and
installed it.
Now rpm doesn't seem to think i've got any packages installed at
all. So the questions are:
* is there something I have to do to convert the rpm database
to some new format for 4.0?
* failing that how do i go about putting 3.x version of rpm
back?
I'm beginning to thing it might be simplest just to upgrade to
redhat 7.0. I'd sort of decided to wait until 7.1.
