[ILUG] POP-3 problem

I don't seem to be able to telnet into my POP-3 server
properly, Each time I connect it comes up with the normal
stuff..
Trying <IP>
Connected to <my Domain>
Escape char Bla Bla
and seconds later ..
Connection closed by foreign host !

I've read bits here and there and they all seem to assme its
gonna work fine and never seem to point out common pit falls

Any way, Hit me with it, What stupid thing have I compleatly
missed

Ps I'm using RH6.2 for what its worth
