I haven't checked cdrecord directly, since I prefer X-CD-Roast (the latest alpha/
beta), but at least it supports multisession. I have burned multisession before,
and I lost approximately 20MB for each additional track. 3 tracks==60MB waste, in
addition to the normal waste.
Note:This was with some crap running on Win95/98, so it might be slightly better in
Unix, Linux, whatever. The new X-CD-Roast+cdrecord uses 30 seconds to fixate the
CD after writing, while the old one took a minute or more.
