Hi all,
I'm having a new server built with a Raidzone IDE Raid system.
However, I also want to have an inexpensive SCSI card for occasional use.
The vendor has proposed an AHA-2930U with which I'm not familiar. I know it
is a supported card, but I'm just wondering have any of you used it. My
major use of it will be with a replaceable disk on a cradle, so I'm a little
concerned with Adaptec's non-stellar reputation for cabling robustnes i.e.
some Adaptec cards are very sensitive to cable quality ? Any comments would
be welcomed.
