Hi all
I am trying to do a kickstart install with RedHat 6.2, and I can't get
the rpm -i (install rpm) commands in the %post section to work. I've
read elsewhere that in RedHat 6.x installs, the RPM database is locked
and new RPMs can't be installed here.
I really don't want to have to munge my RPMs into the distribution
(especially when we start having different distributions on different
read-only devices). Does anyone know how to install RPMs in the %post
section? And why hasn't this been fixed since it was discovered by
users first in 6.0? (I know you aren't RedHat, I'm just curious).
Thanks
