Once a console has a modifiable operating system like the XBox or Indrema it
can go wrong and almost definitly will go wrong. I beauty of a conventional
console is that every time you switch it on its setup how it came from the
factory.
Operating System wars really have no place in the console arena and the
console market doesn't care. What matters is the games. The XBox and the
Indrema are trying to bring PC gaming to the massive console audience, but
since *very* few PC games ever make the cross-over into the console world and
when they do sales are always less than impressive I doubt anyone will really
care.
