Sending a mail to the 732 members of the ILUG really isn't going to
affect whether redhat.com is up or down. Might I suggest that mailing
webmaster at redhat.com is likely to be a more productive response to
your inability to see the site?
With older versions of various Usenet clients, a warning came up on
the screen when you were about to post a message. It was something
like:
This program posts news to thousands of machines throughout the
entire civilized world. Your message will cost the net hundreds
if not thousands of dollars to send everywhere. Please be sure
you know what you are doing.
Might I suggest that people bear this in mind when posting *any*
message with mass distribution.
