Nah. Distros would compile in the kitchen sink it there was a driver for
it (just wait for those internet accessible dish washers, and we'll see!)
That's one of the coolest things about Debian - in the kernel source
package there are scripts to compile your own kernel as a debian package,
so you can easily upgrade (plus it means there are many kernel images with
different patches available)
