Nah. Distros would compile in the kitchen sink it there was a driver for
it (just wait for those internet accessible dish washers, and we'll see!)
That's one of the coolest things about Debian - in the kernel source
package there are scripts to compile your own kernel as a debian package,
so you can easily upgrade (plus it means there are many kernel images with
different patches available)

Um... no. Anyways, I'd guess they're gonna go lower and lower and not rise
for quite a while. But hopefully they will rise.
