I think the linux.ie link was there about four days after the techcentral
site went up. Big problem being that we started organising it about six
weeks before the real event, and the speakers weren't confirmed till about
three weeks before the event (and we didn't want to put up a site without
confirming speakers). Doing a conference of that size at such notice, was
a really, really silly thing to do :)
What are the best media for getting to people ? I'd not have thought of
radio (there were ads ever day for ten days in the national papers, and in
compuscope).
