[ILUG] getting online

[ILUG] getting online

I recently installed Corel Linux(don't laugh) onto my Dell 500Mhz
windows 98 machine. Originally I had never even considered an
alternative to Windows, and consequently the hardware
issues of Linux. Having got the system up and running, I would
like to get online as soon as possible. I have read that not
all modems can be used with Linux. I have included the details my
modem below and I would be grateful if you could tell me if it is
compatible.

modem type: MDP3900V-W modem
Port:com2
Max speed: 115200
Input/Output range: 02F8-02FF
        Thanks
