[ILUG] sendmail with Esat?

[ILUG] sendmail with Esat?

Wynne, Conor Conor.Wynne at compaq.com
Tue Oct 10 14:36:47 IST 2000

Fair enough. But I consistently achieve high transfer rates with the ol
gofree... maybe I am lucky and have excellent line quality, combined with a
new digital exchange and new cables in the brand new estate.

I am going to subscribe to esat 20 squids...

He's dealing with Esat.net (esat's isp for corporate users), the "20 quid
jobby" is offered by IOL (esat's isp for home users).

Any esat ISP should all get roughly the same transfer rate from
ftp.esat.net, as most of nodes are roughly the same number of hops from
that server. Your transfer rate is not so much decided by your choice of
isp, as the speed that you can connect to that ISP at.

But that's getting OT.
