Apologies, I mean't Mandrake 7.02 and 7.1.

It also is dead cheap, approx 70 squids incl. tax. 64 channels of audio
simultaenously, super duper effects, 190+ DB signal to noise ratio - this is
about as good as it gets without spending hundreds of squids.

Buy it, and forget your Yamaha.

I have an sblive! with both rh (tested from 6.2 to 7) and RH 7 and 7.1.

p.s.: Mandrake are releasing the next version next week.

I have Mandrake 7.1 installed on a Dell PC. My soundcard is not compatible
with
the system. Can anyone recommend a soundcard that will work with Mandrake
7.1?
How much should it cost and where can I buy one in Dublin?

Eugene O'Leary.
