MY biased recommendation: SB Live! - available everywhere, and getting
cheaper all the time. Get a Value, if you can find one. Most of the
recommended hardware vendors should have one variant of it.
(If you're into music, or just want to show off, the Platinum kit gives
you heaps of connectors on the front of the machine)
Failing that, just remember to *not* get anything with ESS in the name.
Or Maestro, Pine or whatever pseudonym they're using now.
