Hi all,
In case a bunch of you helpful people come in Monday morning and see
all my plaintive whinings about Postfix and decide to give me a dig out (as
you're by and large such nice helpful people :-) ) please note that it's all
sorted now. I must say that I like Postfix - read some parts of manual,
install, and go. Realise that relaying isn't working, whinge to the list a
little, read sample configuration files some more and realise what's wrong,
done and dusted.
Elapsed time 1 day, effort time a few hours, and I've got an SMTP
system with virtual hosts and restricted relaying. It took me a tad longer
than that to get to that point with sendmail, I can tell you.
Regards,
Niall "Postfix rocks !" O Broin
