Hi,
I saw a couple of mails about this and problems
people were having. I have managed to get them
working on my box (RH 6.2 with TNT 2 card).
The problem with my setup I think was the fact it
was picking up the wrong libGLcore.so.
So I did two things:
1) Removed the libGL and libGLcore files
from the /usr/X11R6/lib directory. They are
not needed because you will be using NVIDIA's
2) Created a link libGLcore.so to the versioned
file libGLcore.so.1 in my /usr/lib directory. This
was not done originally when installing the drivers.
As proof that these are working I have been playing
the Soldier of Fortune demo from LokiGames, a nice
piece of UltraViolence. I havn't stessed the driver
too much I have been playing at 800x600 with the
textures on full.
Regards,
Mark
