According to some random stats that I heard, though, Ireland has one of the
highest market penetrations of mobiles in Europe (I believe Norway and Italy
are above us or something like that) so I believe the prices should be
lower.  Also, It's not like they need to make a cable for Ireland only and
that it becomes econmoically unfeasible to make for our population.
Shipping omething like that over from the UK is not going to double the
price - I could get the boat over and pick up one for cheaper...

Rip-off merchants is all they are.

Anyway, don't get me started - I'll only get into the whole price of a music
CD here vs US - and the ineveitbaility of MP3 popularity...  Arrg...
