[ILUG] openssh problem

[ILUG] openssh problem

SP K spk_ie at yahoo.co.uk

Hi again, I have installed openssh before, read all
the howto's, faqs and articles on other sites.
Openssh's site doesnt seem to give any info with
setting up ure own keys, just he installation and
config :-(

Openssh is installed on 2 of my boxes. When i start
it, it seems to start ok in the logs without errors.
I did ssh-keygen in my home directory. [in both
machines].
I then copied identity.pub to authorized_keys.
Then appended identity.pub [from the other box] to
authorized_keys.
And vice versa on the other box.

But when i do ssh from with box with '-v', it tells me
the password is bad.

What am i doing wrong cause i dont know? thank-you

Regards,
Sean P. Kelly
