[ILUG] 802.11 wlan card recommendations/experiences

Hi,

Does anyone have experience in using 802.11 wireless lan cards under linux and
recommendations for same. Having looked at
www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/Linux.Wireless.drivers.html
and www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan/index.html I'm leaning towards something
based on the Intersil PrismII.

I'm hoping to use one PCI based card in a linux box as a software-access point
for other 802.11 compliant devices. From what I've read at the weekend it
should be possible.

Alan.
