Just In Case This Thread Erupts Again :
The policy on the linux.ie lists is to have Reply-To: set to the
message sender, not to the list. The reason for this is that
mistakenly sending a message to fewer people than intended is easily
corrected, while mistakenly sending a message to *more* people than
intended is irrevocable. Yes, I think this overrides the mild
inconvenience of having to occasionally edit a header; in many mailers
even this isn't necessary.
