Ok, this morning I got a big fat cooling fin+thermal paste+fan and put them in
place.....my machine has just fallen over on a compilation.....again. I'm
wondering if I have already damaged the processor. Is it time to give in?
Also....I have it now turned it down to 400MHz and its now able to calculate a
fft correctly....though now the processor is only running at 80% it's spec.
speed. Am I overacting to think that this is too flaky? Should I go back to the
seller and shake him until another processor falls out?
g :((
