What version of XFree86 is it using? 4.0?
I read (somewhere? can't remember) that version 4.0
isn't as good at recognising certain hardware as the
previous version.
I'm running SuSE 6.4 with no problems, I got Linux
Format featuring a trimmed down version of SuSE 7.0
but haven't had the time to try it yet. By the
sounds of things, I might just wait a while.
