[ILUG] Forwarding help

[ILUG] Forwarding help

Eamonn Shinners shinnere at gofree.indigo.ie
Fri Sep 22 23:07:36 IST 2000

I have 2 linux boxes here, IP addresses 192.10.10.1 and 192.10.10.2,
subnet mask 255.255.255.0 . The first one has a kernel compiled to
include routing/forwarding, and the second is setup to use 192.10.10.1
as the gateway, while the first has a blank default gateway. They are
communicating with each other no problem, but if I try to access a
remote site from the second box, no go.
I have tried ping, ftp, telnet, etc. no joy.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Eamonn
