[ILUG] [OT] Using a Palm Piolt for Email and SSH ?

I am looking at getting a 6210 so that I can use the IR in built modem with
my Palm V. I only really want to be able to get at my email via imap/pop
and do ssh.

I really am sick of carrying a laptop when I travel abroad on short trips
just in case I have to dialin in and look at a problem on a box. The idea
of not having to carry anything extra would be bliss.

Any advice/pointers _most_ welcome ?
