[ILUG] Compaq Armada and Linux

Hi All,

I have got my hands on an old Compaq Armada 1572D (I think) laptop.
It's a Pentium MMX with 32Mb RAM and a 3 Gb Disk.
It has a CD-ROM, but won't boot from it.
I reckoned that this would make a pretty handy linux box, except I can't get
Linux onto the damn thing.
When I try to boot from a Linux Boot disk, I get a bios error saying that
the boot record is invalid :-(.
Anyone been there and found an answer?

Thanks,
	David.
