[ILUG] Using "helper apps" with Netscape 6 under Linux

[ILUG] Using "helper apps" with Netscape 6 under Linux

Hi. Was persuaded to download above.
Works fine (seems slower, not sure) & certainly looks pretty.

But I cannot persuade it to load appropriate viewers (gv & xpdf) for ps &
pdf files resp.

I've made the appropriate entry using the Edit>Prefs>Navigator>Helper Apps
pane.

No errors when I click on a pdf file, just nuttin happens.

The invocation of xpdf is same as in Netscape 4.x which I currently use:
/usr/bin/xpdf -q "%s"

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John
