[ILUG] Mutt and send hooks

[ILUG] Mutt and send hooks

Niall O Broin niall at linux.ie

Hi,
I'm using Mutt 1.2.5i and I have the following in my .muttrc

send-hook ilug my_hdr From: niall at linux.ie
send-hook ilug my_hdr Reply-to: ilug at linux.ie

which I understood to mean that these headers would be used for mails where
the addressee matched ilug. It seemed to work but yesterday those headers
were used in a business mail which in no way matched ilug. No big deal, but
I'm just wondering if anyone can explain it.

Regards,

Niall

P.S. I just had a thought. That mail was sent by pressing r in mutt. I just
r'ed again to the same mail and look in the mail queue - sure 'nuff, it's
used the Linux headers again and there's absolutely no mention of ilug
anywhere in the message I'm replying to. Odd, huh ?
