hi all,

is it just me or has the Winmodems-and-Linux-HOWTO 
been missed by everyone.  Lucent Technologies (the people
that make most of the winmodems around) and IBM have both
released winmodem drivers for linux.

the IBM one isnt fully open-source but i think they were
trying to gpl it.  i dont know anything about the lucent ones unfortunately.
