The inaugral meeting of LEWD (Linux Enthusiasts West Dublin) will take place
in Courtney's Pub in Lucan village on Wed April 11, 8.00 p.m. onwards. The
agenda is pints and chat. All are welcome, even those who don't reside in
West Dublin :-)
You may have seen pictures of Courtney's in the national media earlier this
year when it was waist deep in water, but in any event it's easy enough to
find - it's just a few yards away from the Lucan Garda station. If you come
out of Dublin on the N4, turn right at the first crossroads after the M50
roundabout and Courtney's is at the bottom of the hill on the left. If
you're letting C.I.E. do the driving, take any bus to Leixlip, Maynooth,
Celbridge (variants on 66 and 67 but check with the driver that the
particular bus goes through Lucan village) and get off at the Jet station in
Lucan. From there it's just a couple of minutes walk down the hill. If you
can't find it from there, you must be a 'doze luser :-)
Regards,
Niall
