I don't think so - the BBC is very much a tool for experts, and is barely
documented, and like all powerful tools has great potential for doing
serious damage in untrained hands.
OTOH the Demolinux CD sounds very interesting as a giveaway. Runs a full
Linux with KDE, Gnome etc. and even StarOffice - though good luck to you
running SO in a CD based environment :-) The idea of a giveaway is surely to
whet people's appetite / interest. My attitude towards the BBC would be that
if you have that kind of need, and the ability to use it, you can find one
yourself. You really can't use a BBC without logging in as root, and knowing
what kinds of command might be available -> you're already know something
about Linux/Unix -> you're hardly the target for a show giveaway. Of course
Linuxcare give these things away in rafts BUT that's at Linux shows, which
eXpo is not. Of course, I may be wrong - it's happened before :-)
