On a vaguely related topic, I just started reading a new book called "Perl
Debugged" by Peter Scott & Ed Wright (ISBN 0-201-70054-9, published 2001 [like
right about now] by Addison Wesley).
It's not aimed at the long-time master perl hacker, but still has some useful
suggestions on style, design choices, and the like. It's also got some
coverage of using the perl debugger that's pretty well presented.
