This is all very interesting, and I see I've lots of reading to do. Thanks
all - as per usual. 

Any chance of mailing this info to me? I'm just mental buzy at the moment. I
particularly like the dialing rules bit. OK I'm being lazy but what the
hell.

It should be noted that you can tell diald what times it's allowed dial out.
So you
could tell it that it can only dial out when your providers charges are on
evening and weekend rates.
