I was in Chapters bookshop in Middle Abbey St ( Dublin ) to-day, and
spotted something of interest ( to me at least ). Downstairs in the
second-hand dept. among the rather bare computer section, they have
Maximum RPM by Sams Publishing ISBN 0-672-31105-4
which seems to cover much more
on how to use rpm than either the man-pages or Howtos that I have
seen. It deals in-depth with how to create your own rpms from scratch.
Even die-hard Debian users might have the greatness of spirit to want
to make their own creations accessible to lesser mortals, and thus might
it useful. There is one copy left, £5.99 ( and it's not actually second-hand,
just unloved and banished to the bargain basement ).
