[ILUG] kernel compiling guide

[ILUG] kernel compiling guide

Wynne, Conor Conor.Wynne at compaq.com
Tue Apr 17 12:54:40 IST 2001

I have 2.4.3 compiled on a "french" RH6.2, I didn't have to update anything
at all except the sources - naturally.

Red Hat Linux release 6.2 (Zoot)
Kernel 2.4.3-small on an i586

pikachu login:

See works too. And with no errors at all at all.
I have a "beta release" of my kernel compilation guide. I am trying to make
it as non-technical as possible but I haven't had time in the past three
weeks to do jack with it. If you are interested, mail me off list.
Please let me know if you think its the shitest thing you've ever seen in
your life :|

Regards,
CW

could anybody tell me or point me to a guide which
will tell me how to install kernel 2.4 on redhat linux 6.2
