I asked for suggestions on the inoperability of the backspace key and delete
key on my newly-installed RH 7.0, and got the following help from "Tony":
"I had the same problem before, but just run Xconfigurator again
and pick some values. After that it seems to fix the problem
with rh7"
I did as suggested, and for reasons unknown, the problem was immediately
resolved. The gas thing is, one only has to 'pick some values'!
