[ILUG] PDAs and linux organizer software

[ILUG] PDAs and linux organizer software

Hi,
Sounds like a lot of you people are using some type of pda, and some type of
linux <grin>

I'm shopping around at the moment for a 'budget' pda, but I want one that I
can sync with a linux version of organizer software. I don't care what
software, as I'm not using anything at present. - I was looking at the
star-office stuff, but it takes aaaages to load on my poor wee dell
latitude, (even with 128 megs).

Does the hot-sync stuff work ? Work well ?
Any suggestions for both hardware and software ?
Any hardware I should avoid at all costs ?

Thanks,
Declan
