Aha, methinks I need to update the modutils package, I just did lsmod and
there are no modules loaded. I shall try insmod something if I get time
later.

I have 2.4.3 compiled on a "french" RH6.2, I didn't have to update anything
at all except the sources - naturally.

I have a "beta release" of my kernel compilation guide. I am trying to make
it as non-technical as possible but I haven't had time in the past three
weeks to do jack with it. If you are interested, mail me off list.
Please let me know if you think its the shitest thing you've ever seen in
your life :|
