[ILUG] shared memory parameters

 Oracle Provides default values for Sahred Memory
parameters to be set in SHMPARAM.H and SEM.H while
installation Of Oracle.i found taht in my redhat6.2
system i will have to alter some of these values.now i
ahve 2 questions regarding them

a)what is the directory and file loaction where i can
find these values

b)do i need to recompile my kernel if a alter some of
these values?
