[ILUG] 2 sound cards with linux

[ILUG] 2 sound cards with linux

I used to have an Opti (9631 AFAIR) ISA sound card which was detected fine by
sndconfig. Which one are you having trouble setting up. I'd imagine the
Creative on isn't giving any trouble as they're well supported. Are the cards
ISA or PCI. If they're ISA cards then make sure you have set their IRQ and I/O
addresses to be different. Most ISA sound cards come as IRQ 5 by default,
which you could change with a jumper on board.

Hope this helps somewhat,

Paul.

Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded . . .
