Right. I know this isn't possible. But neither is bumble-bee
flight [0]. So here goes anyway. If I do this:
echo bla | awk '{system("export FOO="$0); print "Value was
"ENVIRON["FOO"]}'
It doesn't work. Now this is only an example, the real thing is much more
involved. So the question is - how do I get the output of something I ran
using the system function in awk?
