From taking a quick look at ximian.com, it seems as if they have decided
to change the method of installation, but not update their pages. I
noticed this a couple of days ago, when a apt-get update gave me a 404 on
ximian.

Like I said, they seem to have changed the method of installation - the
way I've always installed ximian has been

  lynx -source http://go-gnome.com | /bin/sh

which would update my sources.list, and ask me whether I'd like to do a
complete install/upgrade etc. Anyway, now it's downloaded a swishy
graphical installer, which I'm playing about with as we speak. Might want
to try that.
