I think the point is that you don't know that the script hasn't been
tampered with.
The script itself is a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. It has a
binary of 'snarf' encoded in the script, unencodes it and downloads
the helix-installer and sets it running. And snarf doesn't even seem
to have proxy support.....
They could have made their installation instructions a *little* bit
harder and saved themselves the effort.
