Time to move house and get microwave TX to yer exchange!!!
Restrictions:
Your home must be located a certain distance from your local eircom
exchange. It is estimated that your home will be required to be within
approximately 3.5 km of your local eircom exchange. This may not be
geographically related, as your home may be located next door to an eircom
exchange but actually connected to an exchange 4km away. Once we commence
provision of ADSL services, we will automatically check this when you place
your order with us.
(They are assuming ALOT !!! Eircom standard or proper telecommunications
standard???)
The quality of the line between your home and your local eircom exchange
must be of a certain standard.
...Pffftt!!

Oh gee.. I think "soon" may be a bit optimistic for "industry
agreement". Sorry to take an easy shot, but waiting for industry
agreement, or rather agreement with Eircom, is not likely to be soon.
