[ILUG] Kernel modules

[ILUG] Kernel modules

Rory Winston rwinston at eircom.net

Hi,

I tried to mount a DOS partition on my RH6.2 box, but the
fs type is not supported by the kernel. When I try to load the
FAT and fat16 modules using insmod, I get an undefined symbol
error, for things like best_user_memcpy. Do I have to build the
kernel again with different options? Also, when I rebuild, will
the functions I'm looking for be listed in the System.map?

Regards

Rory
