Greetings all,

I noted recently that there were some postings about problems with
Eircom.net mail (SMTP)

I set my E-mail address to be uno at eircom.net and tried to send E-mail
but I still have problems.

I've tried using netscape mail and kmail but both are failing to send mail.  They both return error code zero after 60 seconds or so.

I can't send E-mail to internal (eircom.net) mail addresses, or
external E-mail addresses.

I've even tried changing my PCs hostname, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Is everyone on Eircom having this problem?

Webmail seems to work (that's how I'm sending this E-mail)
