Yes the LD's are a better choice for general load balancing. The CSS are web
load balancers only.

The LD's are very neat but there is some serious caveats even in the
earlier code revisions. The stateful failover over the ethernet ports is
a vast improvement the serial cable method.  We love them and have
dozens of them and they just work.
