[ILUG] Web Access Monitoring

[ILUG] Web Access Monitoring

Cormac McClean cmcclean at ait.ie
Thu Feb 8 15:28:05 GMT 2001

One approach:
Hire a number of people (one per employee) to stand behind each
employee with a stop-watch. When the user starts to browse the web,
the timer starts counting; when s/he switches from the web browser,
then stop the time. Keep repeating until the end of the day.

Another alternative is to force employees to wear cameras on their
heads and record their desktops each day.

Either way, company morale is bound to improve given the extra
attention management are showing their employees.

Regards,
Cormac.
